Hot water & District heating pipes
For more than 6 years Moscow-based ZAVOD AND GAZTRUBPLAST pipe plant is producing flexible pre-insulated plastic pipes for hot water and district heating systems. A wide variety of ISOPROFLEX® and CASAFLEX® plastic pipe systems in terms of the range of diameters, operating pressures and temperatures allows their use practically for all district hot water and heating networks.
Alongside with production of the well-established pipe systems the Group’s new high-performance pipeline products are being continuously developed. Thus the production of ISOPROFLEX® pressure pipes 140mm and 160mm in diameter has been started. These pipe systems have no analogues in the world and are meant for heating networks of metropolises. Another new and unique product of the Group is highly-reliable ISOPROFLEX-A pipe system with inner PEX-a pipe reinforced with Kevlar® yarn, designed for operating pressure of 1,0 MPa and working temperature of 95°C simultaneously.
In 2006 GAZTRUBPLAST pipe plant set up domestic production of pressure corrugated stainless steel pipes under the trade name CASAFLEX® – for transportation of superheated water (up to 150°C). ISOPROFLEX® and CASAFLEX® pipes are intended for trenchless installation and are available in long-length pieces in coils or on reels. This piping does not require insulation of joints, which significantly shortens the time and cost of installation. Among other systems’ advantages are their resistance to corrosion, plant heat- and hydraulic preinsulation and longer service life.
For the convenience of our customers we offer completed piping systems with all the necessary fittings and accessories.
ISOPROFLEX® and CASAFLEX® pipe systems are fully certified for use in hot water supply and heating networks in Russia, Ukraine and Belarus. Sanitary Certificates obtained for these products fully confirm their safety for drinking water transportation. The Quality Management System has been verified by ISO 9001 Certificate.
The major PE pipe technologies developers and producers are companies originated from the West-European countries and Japan, i.e. the countries, characterized by tough sanitary and environmental regulations, a shortage of drinking water, a need in safe, reliable water systems and a high demand for energy utilization efficiency and conservation.
That is why PE pipe and fitting products correspond to these requirements, can provide solutions to many current problems, needs and concerns and afford benefits, which help them to keep a dominating position in the pipe market of industrialized countries for many years:
PE pipe manufacturing is an environmentally safe, clean process. It does not involve the use of any materials defined as hazardous and excludes any harmful atmospheric emission. PE material’s highest hygienic properties have been confirmed by public health services of the majority of the countries of the world, and PE material has been recommended as food contact material, including food packaging material for baby food. PE pipes are free from rust and deposits. Their smooth surfaces prevent formation of biofilm on the inner pipe walls, thereby positively influencing PE’s use for water pipes.
Other environmental benefits of PE pipe systems are their excellent durability (up to hundred years) and possibility to utilize modern technologies, which allow pipelines installation and repair without damage to the environment and landscape.
Also important is that plastic pipes can be recycled and in most European countries plastic pipe manufacturers have already set up recycling schemes for used pipes.
The application of modern piping technologies has already started in Russia. We are confident that the large-scale use of highly efficient PE pipe systems is not far away and both for the present and the future generations
