Stormwater wells (non-throughing)

Stormwater wells are designed to receive storm (rain) water (usually with sand catcher). According to SNIP 2.04.03-85 they should be installed:

  • in areas of protracted descent (ascent) of the pipeline route;
  • at intersections and pedestrian crossings on the waterflow surface;
  • in the lower places at the end of lengthy sections of slopes;
  • in the streets, yards and parks areas that have no surface water runoff.
