Miron Isaakovich Gorilovsky

Miron Isaakovich Gorilovsky graduated from Moscow State Academy of Fine Chemical Technology named after M. V. Lomonosov (MITHT).

For 7 years he worked as a researcher in the area of polyolefin and polyamide compounding in the Research Institute of Polymeric Materials (NIIPM) in Moscow.

In 1991, Miron Isaakovich, along with a group of like-minded people from NIIPM, founded POLYPLASTIC, SPE specializing in the compounding of thermoplastics and the production of plastic pipes. Within 20 years POLYPLASTIC Group became the largest company in plastics processing in Russia, with an annual production of 200 thousand tons. The group includes 13 plants in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and Kazakhstan, as well as one of the best equipped research centers in composite materials and plastic pipes.

Since 2003, he has been the chief editor Polymer Pipes, an industry journal. Miron Isaakovich has a Ph. D in chemical science and is an author of numerous papers and patents in the field of plastics processing.

He is married and has two daughters and two sons.
